This Privacy Policy explains how Al Noor — a mobile application providing prayer times, Holy Quran, nearby mosques, and Qibla finder — handles your information. By using Al Noor, you agree to the terms described in this Privacy Policy.

Overview

    Al Noor does not collect, store, or share any personal information. We do not require you to create an account or log in. The only data accessed is your device's location, which is used locally on your device to provide core app features and is never transmitted to or stored on our servers.

Al Noor does not collect any of the following:

Name, email address, or any personal identifiers
Account or login information (the app has no registration or login)
Device identifiers or advertising IDs
Usage data, analytics, or behavioral tracking
Camera or photo gallery access
Contacts or phonebook data
Payment or financial information

Location Data

Al Noor requests access to your device's location (latitude and longitude) solely to provide the following core features:

Calculating accurate daily prayer times based on your current position
Determining the Qibla direction from your location
Finding nearby mosques using Google Maps

Your location is processed locally on your device and through Google Maps APIs for the mosque finder feature. Your location data is never collected, stored, or transmitted to our own servers. You may deny location permission at any time through your device settings, though this will limit the functionality of the app.

Third-Party Services — Google Maps

Al Noor uses the Google Maps API to power the nearby mosques feature. When you use this feature, Google Maps may collect information from your device in accordance with its own Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review Google's Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

We do not control the data practices of Google and are not responsible for their privacy practices.

Kids' Privacy

Security

Since Al Noor does not collect or store any personal data, there is no personal data at risk from our side. Your location is handled entirely on-device or through Google Maps' secure infrastructure, and we have no access to it.
